Meltingwang created an artificial bonsai landscape of synthetic vision to illustrate how digitalization has interfered with thinking, unfolding discussions of nature in this current state. The culture of simulation created by science and technology does not imitate the material world directly. The remains of digital thinking dwell in the system in the course of constant switching between online and offline states, absorbing multiple ways of thinking. The material world also ejects itself into the digital, and vice versa. These artifacts make up the bonsai landscape that is reconstructed here for daily appreciation.
